The Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia (TIANS) together with Tourism Nova Scotia (TNS) has committed to supporting the tourism industry to identify, prevent, and eliminate accessibility barriers so that travellers of all abilities can experience everything Nova Scotia’s tourism industry offers.
With support from government and industry partners, TIANS is undertaking the “Improving Accessibility in Nova Scotia’s Tourism Industry”, a four-phase initiative to provide resources and tools to enhance industry capacity and ensure travellers can find the information they need to inform their trip planning decisions.
To support this work, TIANS seeks a vendor to complete Phase 2 of the initiative. The vendor will assess the state of readiness among tourism operators across the various tourism sectors with respect to meeting anticipated accessibility requirements.
