On August 4^th, TIANS wrote to the eleven Nova Scotian Members of Parliament, urging them to support the critical extension of both the Canadian Emergency Wage Subsidy and Rent Subsidy programs.  It was stressed that although our national partners at TIAC and HAC are in discussions re a new support, the Tourism Sector requires targeted as a bridge in the interim. Premier Iain Rankin and Ministers Crystia Freeland and  Mélanie Joly were copied on the campaign letter.
