Good Afternoon,

TIANS would like to thank you for your ongoing feedback during this difficult time.  We assure you that we are listening and we value your comments and input.

Many of you have identified the need for support to manage cash flow, and also how to access the many programs being announced.  In response, TIANS is offering a Webinar with Grant Thornton tomorrow, April 17th, at 10a.m.  Space is limited to the first 100 operators but we will be re-offering a series of webinars over the coming weeks.

As we begin preparing for rebuilding Nova Scotia’s Tourism Industry, we know that it will require innovation and a new way of doing business. We have launched ourMarketing and Product Development Survey. If you have not yet had the opportunity to provide your feedback, we encourage you to take a few minutes to do so.

In partnership with Tourism HR Canada, the Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council is offering a variety of emerit frontline, supervisory, and managerial online training modules free of charge.  These modules can support ongoing training needs and assist with up-skilling and cross training opportunities.

As well, we are working closely with the Department of Labour and Advanced Education, and they are providing their Skills OnLine NS  training portal to Nova Scotia businesses, at no cost.

STAY CONNECTED – TIANS continues to populate the TOURISMSTRONG.CA portal with the most up to date resources and supports.  Please take the time to review the site for latest news and updates.  The Facebook Discussion Group provides you with a valuable forum for Tourism Industry issues during this challenging time.

On behalf of the TIANS Board and Staff, Stay Well.  Stay Tourism Strong.
