The Nova Scotia government has announced financial support for small businesses affected by the wildfires. 

Businesses located in the mandatory evacuation zones in Halifax Regional Municipality and Shelburne County can apply for a one-time grant of up to $2,500 to offset costs of unexpected closures. The Small Business Wildfire Relief program will open Monday, June 5.
