The Small Business Impact Grant Part 3 is available to eligible businesses, including new businesses, and provides a grant of up to $5000.
Eligible recipients of previous Impact Grants have been invited to apply through a simplified process. Eligible businesses that have not previously received an Impact Grant will be able to apply on May 19.
Businesses with multiple establishments
After May 19, incorporated eligible businesses that operate more than 1 business establishment under a single corporate entity can claim a rebate of up to $5,000 for each establishment. You need to show the allocation of revenues and expenses between the establishments.
Funding amount
The grant amount will be 15% of the business’s sales revenue for either April 2019 or February 2020 up to a maximum of $5,000. If your business has previously received a Small Business Impact Grant or the Small Business Reopening and Support Grant, your grant amount will be equal to the highest amount you received under those programs.
For businesses established after 1 February 2020, the grant amount will be equal to 15% of the sales revenue for any month from April 2020 to March 2021. You can choose which month to use in calculating the grant.
How to apply
If you’re operating a business in an eligible sector and you previously received a Small Business Impact Grant, you’ll receive an email explaining the next steps.
Applications for businesses that didn’t previously receive a Small Business Impact Grant will open by 19 May 2021.
