The Federal Government has announced that the Canadian border restrictions for travellers from any country other than the United States have been extended until January 21, 2021.

The new Order in Council for travellers from any country other than the United States is similar to the previous Orders in Council and restricts entry to Canada by travellers unless they fall under the entry exemptions which include among others, Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents of Canada, immediate family members of Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents, valid Work Permit or Study Permit holders, and those with Work Permit Approval or Study Permit Approval Letters.

The current border restrictions for travellers from the United States are also still in place until December 21, 2020,
