As we move into broader reopening of Nova Scotia’s economy, TIANS is continuing to advocate on measures that can support the Industry, and one in particular we would like you to help with. 

We are asking the federal government to implement a federal Tourism Tax Travel Credit for Canadians for 2020. We believe that encouraging Canadians to help rebuild the economy and support local through a Tourism Tax Credit would be very good public policy. Correspondence has been sent to Nova Scotia Members of Parliament, requesting that they champion this issue on behalf of Nova Scotia’s tourism industry.
