Our industry won’t be able to survive another year like this, says restaurateur

It’s been a grim year for tourism in the province, including southwestern Nova Scotia.
Tourism Nova Scotia’s chief executive officer Michele Saran says 2020 has been devastating to the industry.
“We went from $2.6 billion in 2019 down to a projected $900 million in 2020. That’s a 65 per cent decrease from year over year. It’s absolutely devastating. It’s hit every corner of our industry.”
